LeBron James Makes Final Decision: Returns to Cleveland Cavs
In what seemed to be the biggest global sports decision of the year, LeBron James has finally decided which team would be the automatic championship contender in the NBA for years to come.
That lucky team was the one he turned his back on just a few years ago.
LeBron James is returning to Cleveland.
“My relationship with Northeast Ohio is bigger than basketball. I didn’t realize that four years ago. I do now.”

One can only imagine how many Cleveland fans now regret burning their LeBron James jersey back when he left for the Miami Heat.
LeBron’s departure might actually be seen as somewhat of a blessing in disguise for Cleveland, who due to a horrible sudden departure of a superstar, were left with some of the worst winning records in the NBA, which then allowed them to acquire high draft picks.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are stacked with young talent as the NBA All Star MVP point guard Kyrie Irving and this year’s number 1 draft pick Andrew Wiggins will surely find ways to complement James.
“Before anyone ever cared where I would play basketball, I was a kid from Northeast Ohio. It’s where I walked,” James said. “It’s where I ran. It’s where I cried. It’s where I bled. It holds a special place in my heart. People there have seen me grow up. I sometimes feel like I’m their son. Their passion can be overwhelming. But it drives me.”
“I want to give them hope when I can. I want to inspire them when I can.”
