Lea Michele just penned an emotional letter for her ex-boyfriend, “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith, who passed away 10 years ago on July 13 due to accidental “combined heroin and alcohol toxicity.”
Lea, who posted an old black-and-white picture of them on her Instagram page, honored the actor’s memories and shared that she still thinks fondly of him to this day.
“Hey you. 10 years. It feels like only yesterday that you were here and yet a million years ago all at the same time. I hold all of our memories in my heart where they will stay safe and never forgotten. We miss you every day and will never forget the light you to brought to us all. I miss you big guy,” she wrote.

“I hope you found Taylor up there and are playing the drums together,” she added, possibly referring to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins who died in March 2022.
Many of their fans flooded the comments with their own messages for Cory and shared their memories of watching him in “Glee.”
Cory’s character, Finn Hudson, made his last appearance in the show’s fourth season in the episode “Sweet Dreams.” He missed the rest of the season to enter drug rehabilitation. He passed away over three months later.
