With James Gunn back and directing Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Marvel fans can’t help but speculate about the future of Star-Lord and the rest of the gang. However, (and we’ve said this far too many times) with Phase 3 of the MCU still wrapping up with Spider-Man: Far From Home, everything is still up in the air for Phase 4.
The recent rumor to launch from the quiet of Marvel Studios suggests that Lady Gaga is being considered for the role of Rocket Raccoon’s love interest, Lylla. In the comics, Lady Lylla is a sentient otter from Halfworld (the same planet where Rocket is from) and Rocket’s soulmate.
Marvel fans are interested and are quite honestly amused by this because, as we all know, Rocket Raccoon is played by none other than Bradley Cooper.
The two actors recently starred in A Star is Born and their chemistry on screen is undeniable. This has resulted in fans being drawn to the prospect of them acting opposite together in Guardians 3.
We still don’t know when Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3Â is being released. There have been no production updates as of late, either.
