LA-based Filipino film music composer, Jaimie Pangan, has released “The Wild Ones” album

Hollywood Music in Media nominee and LA-based Filipino film music composer, Jaimie Pangan, has released an 8-track album for the soundtrack of the film entitled, “The Wild Ones”.

The film “The Wild Ones” directed by fellow Filipino creative, John Geronilla, is a story about two friends, Camila and Rico, who ride their bikes around the San Fernando Valley in search of their missing friend Nicole. Along the way, they struggle to realize the answers they’re looking for which is what might forever tear them apart. Casts in the film include Kelli Anderson, Bobby Leo Garcia, Stephanie Hoston, Spencer Valenzuela, Rose Portillo, and Jessica Nielson (who appeared in the popular horror TV series “American Horror Story”).

The album comprises of tracks that highlight the mysterious nature of Nicole’s disappearance and the emotional roller coaster the main characters go through as they search for Nicole. It has ambient, electronic, Spanish and Western influences, and a melody that encapsulates the whole film’s story.

Most of the tracks have guitar elements which was played by USC alumnus and Peruvian composer Alvaro Balvin Benavides, and lovely solo cello lines by professional LA-based cellist Katt Newlon.
