Originally a poetry book by Marcelo Santos III, Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko will soon be released as a mini-series by Viva One – and we got to visit the set to witness the magic in action and to learn a little bit more about the series as well.

Directed by Carlo Catu, the series is set to have six parts and while not a lot was revealed to us during our set visit (everything’s still a little hush-hush), we can guarantee that you will most likely shed a lot of tears when you watch it. From the bits and pieces from the scenes we got to see, we can confirm that it will definitely be relatable to those who have loved, those who have lost, and especially those who are stuck between staying and letting go.
What’s more, Kung Hindi Lang Tayo Sumuko has a star-studded cast that includes Coleen Garcia, Carlo Aquino, Rhen Escaño, Jerome Ponce, Ryza Cenon, and Kiko Estrada; making it a series you definitely won’t want to miss.

Witnessing the stars on and off the screen along with the long hours and hard work that they put in during every single take just made us respect them, their professionalism, and their craft all the more.
We even got to interview Rhen and Ryza in-between takes. We were honestly so shy to ask them to spend some time with us because we saw how tired and busy they were, but we are so grateful for the opportunity and look forward to watching the show in all of its glory:
