Coleen Garcia-Crawford just won the Best Actress award at the El Grito International Fantastic Film Festival in Venezuela! This is for her portrayal of the character Rebekah in “Kaluskos” (2022).
She expressed her gratitude in a recent social media post. “Yesterday, I woke up to the exciting news that I won Best Actress at the El Grito International Fantastic Film Festival in Venezuela! Thank you so much to the jury for selecting me. I am so honored,” she wrote.

Directed by Roman Perez Jr., “Kaluskos” is a psychological domestic thriller about domestic violence and an official Cinemalaya entry. Also starring alongside Coleen are Cara Gonzales, Karl Medina, Elora Espano, and Queenzy Calma.
She also thanked her director and Viva Films for the opportunity of playing her role. She also added, “Thank you, Lord, for carrying me through all of it.”
“I learned a lot from this project, and working on it really reminded me why I love what I do,” she concluded.
