The 2024 South Korean action crime film Revolver, starring Ji Chang-wook and Lim Ji-yeon, took home the prestigious Best Film at the 2024 Buil Film Awards.

Held on October 3, the star-studded awards ceremony honored several artists with well-deserved accolades.
Among them is Song Joong-ki, who bagged the Best Supporting Actor award for his phenomenal performance in the neo-noir thriller film Hopeless. He bested other nominees such as Oh Jung-se (Cobweb), Koo Kyo-hwan (Escape), Yoo Hae-jin (Exhuma), and Park Ji-hwan (Handsome Guys).
Meanwhile, veteran artists Jung Woo-sung and Kim Geum-soon won Best Actor and Best Actress, respectively, for their acting performances.
Shin Hye-sun, the face behind popular K-Dramas such as Mr. Queen (2020-2021), See You in My 19th Life (2023), and Welcome to Samdal-ri (2023-2024), won Female Star of the Year. For the male counterpart, 12.12: The Day’s Lee Jun-hyuk bagged the Male Star of the Year.
Since its inception in 1958, the Buil Film Awards is considered one of the earliest and biggest film awards events in South Korea.

Best New Actor: Kim Young-sung (Big Sleep)
Best New Actress: Krystal (Cobweb)
Male Star of the Year: Lee Jun-hyuk
Female Star of the Year: Shin Hye-sun
