You’re never going to guess what Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided to name their third child: Chicago!
Kim and Kanye welcomed their third child, a healthy baby girl, via a surrogate on Monday. It was Kim who made the announcement on her Twitter account, as she posted the following:

So why Chicago? Well, it appears that the Windy City holds a special place in Kanye’s heart as the rapper grew up in Chicago.
And while it might seem like an odd name, it looks like they’ve already decided on a nickname just to make things easier: Chi.

Born on January 15 at 12:47 AM at 7 pounds and 6 ounces, baby Chi follows older siblings Saint, 2, and North, 4.
While the Kardashian-West family certainly has a knack for unusual names, it looks like Chicago definitely takes the cake so far.
Kim also released the following statement after Chi’s birth:
“Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister. Love, Kim Kardashian West.”
