Katrina Halili mourned the death of her non-showbiz partner, former Wao, Lanao del Sur vice mayor Jeremy Guiab. She shared the devastating news on January 30 through an Instagram post.
“Ang daya mo love, sabi mo aalagaan mo kami ni Katie. Bakit iniwan mo kami,” she wrote.

Quezon City Councilor Don De Leon also announced Guiab’s passing on his official social media page. He revealed that the former vice mayor passed away on January 28 due to a fatal heart attack.
His caption read, “My best friend, my brother, my confidant and partner. Jeremy G. Guiab succumbed to a fatal heart attack at around 5:00 PM today. Together with his family, we ask for prayers, for his soul’s eternal rest with our Lord. A precious life gone too soon.”
In the comments section of the actress’ post, fans and fellow celebrities Kris Bernal, Jackie Lou Blanco, Carla Abellana, and Camille Prats offered condolences.
Although Halili had kept her relationship private, she previously said in an interview in “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on July 2023 that her late partner had been helping her take care of her daughter Katie, whom she shared with her ex-boyfriend Kris Lawrence.
