Juan Karlos Labajo (famously known as JK Labajo) and Maureen Wroblewitz have called it quits.
In an Instagram post that JK shared on Friday, June 10, he confirmed that the two of them are now “just friends” after a three-year relationship.
“Magka-ibigan na ngayo’y matalik na magkaibigan. Lagi mong tandaan na kahit pagbaliktarin mo man ang mundo, kahit saang lupalop man ng kalawakan, ikaw parin ang nagiisa kong buwan (Lovers now turned good friends. Always remember that even if you turn the whole world upside down, and across all universes, you will still be my one and only moon),” the “Buwan” hitmaker wrote in his caption.

“Maraming salamat, mahal kita, at hanggang sa muli (Thank you, I love you, and ’til next time),” he added.
The model-beauty queen, meanwhile, shared an image of a quote on her Instagram account that simply read: “Life is not happening to you. Life is happening for you.”
In the caption, she stated: “Some things come to an end and that’s okay. But now it’s time for us to grow on our own.”

JK then jumped into the comments section of Maureen’s post to express his gratitude for the years that they’ve been together and to also give his support for her growth in her career and personal life.
“I am the luckiest person in the world to have spent the past years of my life with you and I wouldn’t choose anybody else to have spend those years with. You’ve taught me so much and I have learned, I am learning, and I will learn more. We are both so young and we have to enjoy ourselves. I want to see you succeed. I love seeing you achieve your dreams. You will. We will. Here’s to growth and love for ourselves. For there is no greater love than self-love. Dankëschon, Ich liebe dich and auf wiedersehen,” he said.
It is unknown what caused the breakup but it seems to have been done amicably.
They were first rumored to be dating in 2017 but only confirmed it to the public in 2019.
