JC Santos Gets Angry DM From Fan Who Hates His Character From “Ang Probinsyano”

Marco Cabrera, JC Santos’ character from the long-running television series “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” isn’t meant to be well-liked by audiences. After all, he’s an antagonist—and he’s received so much praise from viewers for being a believable one.

It’s been years since he played that role after being killed off by the series’ main protagonist, Cardo Dalisay (portrayed by Coco Martin), so he was rather surprised when he suddenly found in his Instagram DMs a very angry rant from a fan who couldn’t hold back his fury over his character.

“Marco you are a piece of sh*t. Kung matapang ka suntukan tayo. Buti pinatay ka ni Cardio (If you are brave, let’s have. afist fight. It’s a good thing Cardo killed you),” the message read.

The netizen even demanded JC to answer his threats.

JC took a screenshot of the chat and posted it on his Instagram stories, saying: “So my role in 2018 is still f-ing with people’s feelings after 3 years.”

At the time when his character was still alive in the primetime show, JC also admitted to receiving hate messages and death threats on his personal accounts. However, he knew that getting them only meant that he was doing his job well which made him grateful. “Thankful, kasi nag-work ‘yung character ko, nag wo-work ‘yung mga ginagawa ng writers and ng director sa mga eksena namin (Thankful because my character was effective, and what the writers and directors are doing with our scenes is working),” he told reporters back then.
