Singer-songwriter Mica Javier has revealed her wedding plans with fellow musician Jay R in an interview with ABS-CBN News.
According to Mica, the two will be tying the knot next year!

“Wala pa akong masyadong details na maaring ibigay, pero next year na siya 2020, summer,” she said.
She shared that they plan on having a beach wedding and that they’re almost done with the preparations.
“Beach siya, beach wedding sa Pilipinas. Huwag na nating pahirapan [ang mga pupunta]. Ang laki kasi ng family namin both,” she added.
[“It’s going to be at the beach, a beach wedding in the Philippines. Let’s not trouble our guests. Our families on both sides are really big.”]
“Madali siyang process kasi maaga siyang nasimulan. I’m just very excited. Sobrang chill lang namin ni Jay R, pa-simple lang kami pero sa totoong buhay marami nang nangyayari to fix and finalize kung ano ang gagawin namin,” she continued.
[“It’s an easy process because we started early. I’m just very excited. Jay R and I are really chill. It doesn’t look like it, but there has truly been a lot going on to fix and finalize what we need to do.”]

Mica and Jay R have been engaged since October of last year. Since then, they have been hands-on with the wedding preparations and always made sure to reach a compromise.
“Lahat ng gusto naming dalawa pinag-uusapan namin. Kung may idea ako na gustong gawin, kailangan kong ipa-approve muna sa kanya and yung personality namin [ay] medyo similar ang taste namin sa ganyan,” she shared.
[“Everything we want to happen we discuss with each other. If I have an idea on what I want to happen, I need to have it approved with Jay R. And our personality is that our tastes are very similar.”]
