Heads up, anime lovers: it’s time to head to One Ayala in Makati, as the biggest anime merchandise retailer in Japan has finally opened its Manila branch!

After months of anticipation, Animate’s Manila branch officially opened on October 16, 2026.
What is Animate famous for?
Animate is known for its wide range of Japanese pop-culture merchandise, including anime, manga, and non-anime items like video games. Fans can also see limited-edition items from their favorite titles.

Animate Manila branch has officially opened. What will you see inside?
Visitors can expect merchandise from popular anime titles such as One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, Attack on Titan, Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, Haikyu!!, and more.
After a successful first day, Animate Manila thanked those who joined its grand opening on social media and encouraged them to visit again, as it plans to add more merchandise and products from additional anime.
