Actress Sam Pinto is officially engaged to PBA player Anthony Semerad!
In an interview with PEP.ph, Sam revealed that she has been engaged to Anthony since August 2019 after he proposed to her during a trip to Australia. They had also celebrated their first anniversary at the time.

“I kinda felt it naman kasi,” she said about the proposal when Anthony had told her to “wear something nice” for their weekend trip to Gold Coast. She shared that a white limo had picked them up at the hotel which brought them to the pier where they then took a helicopter ride around Gold Coast. After they landed, they took a gondola ride where Anthony eventually brought out the ring.
“Ang dami pa niya sinasabi, pero wala, hindi ko na naririnig nung nakita ko [He was telling me so many things, but nope, I wasn’t paying attention anymore when I saw it],” she added.
Sam also shared that the proposal ended with a photoshoot which she will soon post on Instagram. She also revealed that they plan to wed in 2021, in light of Anthony’s twin brother David’s 2020 nuptials with actress Gwen Zamora.

It was back in June 2019 when friends and fans first thought that wedding bells were ringing for the couple after Sam posted a photo of her and Anthony on Instagram with a diamond ring emoji in the caption. She later changed her caption to clarify that they were not yet engaged.
