Just when you think good people rarely exist in the world nowadays, little acts of kindness suddenly show up to pleasantly surprise you. Like this story, for example.
A good citizen writes to WhenInManila.com: “Somebody left this in the taxi I rode tonight,” attaching with the email a photo of the items in a shopping bag apparently left by the passenger before him in a taxi.
He adds, “Sayang eh. I was wondering if you could post in your Facebook sana since you can make it viral; would be great para makuha pa.” [Such a waste. I was wondering if you could post in your Facebook since you can make it viral; would be great if the owner can still get it back.]
According to the person who found the bag (he refuses to be named—not needed, he says), the passenger who left the items got off at Fort, Bonifacio Global City. The bag contains a cap, a polo shirt, a powerbank, and another item he won’t reveal for verification purposes in case the real owner does show up to claim them.
So are you the owner? You can claim the shopping bag by texting this passenger at 09062726322. And a thank you to the taxi’s driver, too, he adds. Kuya Ed of a taxi plated UVM 636.
