Questions about Ryan Bang’s relationship status resurfaced after a moment on It’s Showtime caught viewers’ attention.

In the January 22, 2026, episode’s Laro Laro Pick segment, the hosts were chatting with a contestant from Antipolo who works as a golf caddie and knows Ryan from the club where he plays. Naturally, the hosts called Ryan over to meet her, but the exchange quickly took an unexpected turn.
“Galante po siya. Galante po,” the contestant said, describing Ryan as generous, especially toward caddies. She then added, “Mahilig po sa magandang caddie,” which drew laughter from Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro, while Vice Ganda looked momentarily stunned.
“’Di ako ‘yun. Ako?” Ryan responded, sounding surprised.
Vice then stepped in to defend him, saying, “Eh binata naman ‘yung anak ko. Ano namang masama doon? ‘Di ba?”
“Binata. Eligible,” Vice added, with Vhong agreeing.
Those remarks quickly sparked online chatter, with viewers wondering whether Vice’s words were simply playful banter or a subtle hint about Ryan’s current relationship status.
Ryan had previously introduced Paola Huyong to the public in February 2024 during the opening of his restaurant, Paldo. He later shared that they met in April 2023 during a casual football game, which led to regular conversations and eventually a relationship.
By June 2024, Paola announced their engagement on Instagram, and the couple openly talked about their wedding plans. In interviews, Ryan spoke warmly about their relationship and how accepted he felt by both families. By May 2025, he had shared that they were targeting June 2026 for their wedding.
However, in September 2025, breakup rumors began circulating after Paola announced the closure of her café, Siesta Horchata, which was located in the same building as Ryan’s restaurant. Around the same time, fans noticed that her engagement post had been taken down, and by late October, the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Neither Ryan nor Paola addressed the speculation. In late November, Ryan was spotted helping out at Paola’s Siesta Horchata stall during the Hey, Escolta! Fair, based on a photo he shared on his Instagram story.
