Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit 1 and 2 (LRT-1, 2) offers free train rides to commuters TODAY, June 12, in celebration of Philippine Independence.
MRT and LRT will be offering free rides to the public today from 7AM to 9AM and 5PM to 7PM.
Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) spokesman Atty. Hernando Cabrera confirmed this through Twitter.

Free rides are regularly offered during national holidays. Aside from Independence, it is also usually offered during Women’s Day, Veterans Day and Rizal Day.
