Pia Wurtzbach has been continuous in her efforts to contribute to COVID-19 aid. The beauty queen has also raised funds to buy face masks for frontliners and health workers fighting the virus.
With this, she also continues to encourage her followers and the public to continue supporting our frontliners. On Instagram, she shared step-by-step guide on how to make a DIY face shield to keep our frontliners protected.

She says, “Our community frontliners brave the threat of disease daily so we can enjoy the comforts that their sacrifices afford us. Let’s show gratitude to our deliverymen, security guards, supermarket cashiers, and other frontline workers by keeping them protected.”
The steps are as follows:
- Get 1 clean hat and one sheet of clear plastic.
- Cut plastic to a piece big enough to one’s eyes, nose, and mouth.
- Attach to the hat with tape, glue, or thread.
- Share with a community frontliner
