This Hotel in Batangas Lets Guests Enjoy Grape Picking

Nestled in the scenic rolling hills of Batangas, the vineyard at Twin Lakes has become a defining feature of the tourism estate, quietly growing its legacy as the Philippines’ first and only vineyard resort community. For years, it has offered more than just scenic views and a rare vineyard experience, it has also cultivated a lifestyle rooted in nature and sustainability.

Maintaining a working vineyard in a tropical climate is no easy feat; yet through smart vineyard practices, such as drip irrigation, consistent nutrient support, and careful vine management, Twin Lakes has sustained its vineyard year after year.

These efforts have led to increasingly fruitful harvests. This season, the vineyard expects to yield more than 100 kilograms of grapes. Spread across 16 terraced rows on a 10,500-square-meter hillside, grape varieties such as Brazilian Hybrid, Catawba, and Red Cardinal continue to thrive under the care of Twin Lakes vineyard experts.

More than an attraction, the vineyard plays an active role in the township community. Grapes from previous harvests have been shared with residents, incorporated into the Twin Lakes Hotel’s menu, and used in signature beverages and dishes served across restaurants within the community, bringing a true farm-to-table experience to guests and residents alike.
