In a heartfelt Instagram post, the 38-year-old British actress couldn’t be anymore thankful for The Academy, as well as everyone she has worked with in the blockbuster musical film.

If Cynthia wins the Oscar for Best Actress, she could become the youngest EGOT winnerโ€”someone who has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony.

“Moments like this donโ€™t come along very often, and when they do, it is sacrilege to let them pass by without a moment of gratitude. I am grateful, grateful toย @theacademy, grateful to be a part of something that makes people feel seen, grateful to be a cog in the wheel of a piece that makes us believe in magic, grateful to have experienced a dream come true, and deeply deeply grateful for this unbelievable recognition,” she wrote.

2. Colman Domingo

Colman Domingo, who starred in the prison drama Sing Sing, has been nominated for Best Leading Actor. This marks his second Academy nomination, the first being in 2024 for Rustin.

“Iโ€™m humbled and deeply honored to be in such brilliant company and sharing this with tiny ari who sat and studied Judy Garland singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow just before the big, beautiful bubble entered,” she said in a heartfelt Instagram post. “I’m so proud of you, tiny.”

4. Zoe Saldana

Zoe Saldana received another Best Supporting Actress nomination for her role in the musical crime-comedy film Emilia Pรฉrez. She previously won in the same category at the 2025 Golden Globes.
