Tomorrow, the world will have a new Miss Universe. But before that happens we must first bid goodbye to the reigning Miss Universe, our very own Catriona Gray. And of course, she also gets the chance to say her farewells.
While she’ll be giving a longer, more formal address tomorrow before turning over her crown, Catriona has already taken to social media to express her thoughts on her time as Miss Universe. She shared on her Instagram page her strongest feelings this last night as Miss Universe.
“My last night as reigning @missuniverse and my emotions are all over the place,” she captioned a sneak peek of her last Miss Universe photoshoot.

“But underneath the noise, the underlying tone is gratitude. Gratitude for this amazing opportunity…for all of you amazing souls who have endlessly supported me and joined me on this journey,” her caption ended.
The layout she shared included a quote from her. It reads: “To my beloved Philippines! Isang karangalan po ito. [This has been an honor.] You have endlessly inspired me, carried me, and given me hope. Maraming salamat sa inyo. [Thank you all so much.] It is one of my life’s greatest honors to bring pride to my beloved Philippines. I will forever continue to carry and to raise our flag.”
