If you’ve ever been annoyed when someone else uses your Netflix profile, you don’t have to worry anymore. Netflix now has a feature that allows you to lock your own profile with a protected PIN.

But the PIN feature wasn’t just released to prevent others from messing with how you watch.  Netflix said that this is to give parents the right controls they need to make the right decisions for their families. They have also released different features so that parents will not have to worry about their kids’ streaming activity.

For example, a new feature enables parents to block certain movies/shows from their kids, which can be filtered either by age restrictions or titles. Parents will also be able to see what their kids are watching, and also allows them to prevent autoplay so that their kids won’t binge-watch shows.
