Heneral Luna was accepted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as the country’s official submission to the 73rd Golden Globe Awards which will take place January next year!
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association is in charge of the Golden Globes. The sleeper hit biopic, directed by Jerrold Tarog, is in the running with 71 other submissions from 46 countries for an official nomination! The final five nominees will be announced this Thursday, December 10.
Heneral Luna received positive reviews from foreign publications such as the New York Times, Variety, and Hollywood Reporter, and is the highest grossing historical film in the Philippines of all time!
