Have You Tried This Air Conditioner Trend?

Home Buddies just invented another trend aside from remodeling old furniture by wrapping wallpaper stickers. Members of the popular Facebook group are now putting Irish Spring soap on their air conditioners! The smell of the American deodorant soap has always been associated with pasalubongs from our relatives abroad. Its fragrance is sealed in balikbayan boxes and envelopes everything inside it to what Filipinos call “amoy Amerika“. Now, they have just discovered how to incorporate this scent into their homes.

Chris Galon, a member of Home Buddies, is one of those who tried it and did an “attendance check” on the group. His post “nakapag-Irish Spring na ba [ang] lahat?” garnered 10 thousand reactions and almost 2 thousand comments. Some of them answered that they are already doing it while some claim to have bought the soap but have yet to buy an air conditioner. Lol! People are also sharing screen captures of their online shopping carts to say that they are in on it too, and have pleaded not to get Irish Spring sold out from grocery stores! Others have even tried the Icy Blast variant of the bar soap.

In case you are wondering where to buy Irish Spring online, it is available and currently on sale on Lazada!
