Here’s another reason to be proud of Isko Moreno.

The Manila mayor was recognized by the Harvard Business School OPM Club of the Philippines as the first awardee of the Gamechanger in Politics award.

During the awarding, he said, “Yung Harvard, minulat niyan yung mata ‘ko. It gave me a new perspective on how to properly govern your constituents.”

[“Harvard opened my eyes. It gave me a new perspective on how to properly govern your constituents.”]

Mayor Isko added, “Sisikapin ko na magiging maayos at di kahiya-hiya ang aking pamamalakad sa Lungsod ng Maynila. Kaya inaanyayahan ko kayong lahat na tulungan natin ang Maynila in any way that we can.”

[“I will work hard to fix the processes in Manila so it’s something we can be proud of. I encourage everyone to help Manila in any way that we can.”]

OPM (Owner President Management) is a club organized by graduates that hopes to “inspire one another and to make a positive difference in the world.”

As a Harvard graduate who enrolled in a short executive program (called Leadership in Crisis) at the John F. Kennedy School in 2012, Mayor Isko was also conferred an honorary membership in the Harvard Business School OPM Club of the Philippines.
