Guji Lorenzana is a singer, actor, radio DJ, commercial model and now a concert producer. He is currently producing his first solo concert entitled “Guji Lorenzana LIVE”, on April 29, 2011 at the 19 East Bar and Grill in their legendary Music Hall.
This very special concert will capture his journey as a musician, showcasing his wide range and versatility as an artist. The concert is also planned to guest well-known celebrities who have been very influential in his career.
His career started out as a dream. After auditioning for American Idol Season 3, he ventured to Manila to pursue music. After three independent albums, and one Awit Award nomination for Best Male Performance in 2007, ABS-CBN’s Star Magic signed him up, and he became one of their fastest rising actors and performers, starring in two major teleseryes and becoming a mainstay on the TV show ASAP via the “Voizboys” singing group.
But now it has become time to get back into the love that brought him to the Philippines, music… his music. With a string of successful bar tours, and becoming one of the most sought after band acts to enter the Manila bar scene in 2010 and early this year, record executives abroad have caught on to his rising notoriety which has now paved way for growing opportunities in the music scene.
This concert will be the re-launching of Guji Lorenzana back into the music scene as a solo artist. Special guest is Janjay Coquilla, an up and coming R&B artist under Bellhaus Entertainment, Inc., home of acts like PYT.
