Former Volleyball star-turned-television host Gretchen Ho couldn’t help but gush over Piolo Pascual on her Instagram post after he had pitched in for her “Donate a Bike, Save a Job” campaign.
She shared a number of photos taken during their turnover of the 200 bikes in total at the Quezon City Memorial Circle as she joked about how giddy she felt meeting the 43-year-old actor.

“Huwag ka masyadong lalapit @piolo_pascual! COVID pa!! At.. Baka matunaw ako,” she said in jest. “Parang eksena lang sa pelikula.. Kasama ang bida sa totoong buhay.”
She then expressed her gratitude to him for his amazing donation to the cause she launched a few months ago. Proud to be sharing the same mission with you.”
Gretchen also shared that they had awarded the first 100 bikes, helmets, and vests to applicants from all over Metro Manila which they pooled from ABS-CBN Networkโs public service app SHAREA, a place that provides verified and hyperlocal community information on health and safety protocols, available jobs, volunteer work, deals and discounts, and more.
The next 100 bikes will be donated to Filipinos affected by #RollyPH from around the Metro and the coastal areas of Naga in the coming weeks.
“Napakalayo ng mararating, literally and figuratively, ng iyong donasyon,” she ended her post. Maraming salamat @piolo_pascual!! Mabuhay ka!”

Just last week, Gretchen commemorated her milestone of having donated 500 bikes in total, with the 500th one going to retrenched construction worker Eric Jimenez.
Meron na rin daw siyang delivery box na nakahanda,” she shared in a post. Work = human dignity.”
