iVolunteer Philippines and SM announce the comeback of the GO! Volunteer Expo this July 25–26 at the SM North EDSA Activity Center in celebration of the United Nations International Year of Volunteers 2026 (IYV 2026).

The recent UN declaration designating 2026 as the International Year of Volunteers presents a massive opportunity for the Philippines to significantly amplify its civic engagement efforts. iVolunteer is positioning its flagship event, the GO! Volunteer Expo, as the primary catalyst to drive this nationwide surge in service.
“The UN’s recognition of 2026 validates the profound importance of volunteerism globally,” said Judith Apolinario-Follero, Executive Director of iVolunteer Philippines. “For the Philippines, this is an unprecedented moment to elevate community action. The GO! Volunteer Expo is the engine for collective action to benefit the country.”
The Power of GO! Volunteer Expo
The GO! Volunteer Expo is widely recognized as the country’s most prominent volunteer engagement event. It serves as the dynamic, physical connection point between non-profit organizations and thousands of motivated citizens.
Participants will enjoy an interactive experience, an opportunity to connect with advocacy leaders, sign up for various volunteer opportunities, and get a chance to win exciting prizes.
Since 2016, its track record has demonstrated its impact. The event has consistently generated organic foot traffic of more than 15,000 visitors in previous editions. More importantly, this exposure has resulted in tangible commitment, converting approximately 15–20% of visitors into active volunteers.
