It took Google’s team six years and God knows how long people have been accidentally hitting “send” to embarrassing drafts that were not meant to see the light of clicking day. Both the new inbox and the basic Gmail inbox has the undo option in the settings. A much requested feature, the undo send option has finally arrived.
All you have to do is check a tiny tick box in your Gmail settings to activate this heaven-sent option:
If anything, it’s a real treat to know that Google’s team does listen to feature requests from users. We can only hope that this “undo send” can be a standard email feature for other providers.Â
