‘Glee’ Stars to Reunite for a Christmas Album!

After 10 years since the show aired, a few well-loved stars from Glee are reuniting for a Christmas album!

It won’t be a Glee-branded Christmas album, however. It will actually be Lea Michele’s, who starred as the show’s lead Rachel Berry. But she will be enlisting the help of costars and good friends Jonathan Groff and Darren Criss on a couple of songs!

Lea spilled the details about her upcoming album, titled “Christmas in the City,” in an interview with People.

“It was always my dream to make a Christmas record. Christmas is so special to me. It’s such an important time of year for me and my family that I have so many incredible memories from,” she said.

The album will feature some of Lea’s favorite holiday songs, including “Silver Bells,” “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” and “Silent Night.” Jonathan will be performing “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” with her while Darren will appear on “White Christmas.”

Lea is also set to debut an original song called “Christmas in New York”, which she describes as a “real love letter” to the city she loves.

“It’s the anthem of the album, and it just highlights all of the special things New York has to offer,” she shared. “It paints this beautiful picture of New York, but it also is really about what it means to be with your family and friends and engaged in that holiday spirit.”

Lea will also be working with the original music producers of Glee, Adam and Alex Anders.
