The Gilas Pilipinas conclude their participation in the FIBA World Cup without any wins. This was after losing to Iran last Sunday night at Beijing Wukesong Sports Center in China. The final score was 95-75 in favor of Iran.

Five minutes in during the fourth quarter, things got frustrating for Gilas when their Big Man Andray Blatche garnered two technical fouls. Because of the fouls, the Center was ejected from the game. This placed the Philippine team at a disadvantage.
The current standing of Gilas Pilipinas is 0-5 win-loss record and will be ranked in the bottom four for the tournament. The exact rank is yet to be determined.
