Get Into the Mid-Autumn Festival Spirit with UP Chinese Student Association

Every year, the University of the Philippines Chinese Student Association (UPCSA) sets up game booths and holds a “grand pakain” around the university to promote Filipino-Chinese culture by celebrating the weeklong Mid-Autumn Festival. The main highlight of this festival is the Pua Tiong Chiu or dice game, where families and friends gather with the goal of dicing the winning combination. This year has proven to be a series of unfortunate events, but that won’t stop us from enjoying this annual holiday with our loved ones.

Mid Autumn2020 FinalPub

From September 28 to October 2, UPCSA will be celebrating the very first fully online Mid-Autumn Festival with fun activities that will be open to all. Join the fun and get a chance to win amazing prizes every day for a week!

As it is the organization’s goal to improve the relationship between the Filipino-Chinese community and the rest of the Philippine society, our projects have a collective goal of showcasing and promoting Filipino-Chinese heritage and culture. This event was prepared so that everyone would be able to enjoy this festive celebration of the Filipino-Chinese culture and share in the fun and love together as one during these trying times.

All the activities will be held on the UPCSA Facebook page, so don’t forget to check in every day at 10AM, 7PM, and 8PM from September 28 to October 2. Join us as we celebrate Filipino-Chinese culture and heritage this September!
