A CCTV captured the moment two men robbed Gerald Anderson’s SUV while it was parked in Quezon City. The men arrived on a motorcycle, while one got off and started snooping around the actor’s car. After a while, the robber smashed the backseat window of the vehicle and grabbed a backpack from inside. He then quickly walked away, rode the back of the motorcycle, and drove away.

According to a report by ABS-CBN, the items stolen from the actor included a laptop, wallet, watch, some jewelry, and Anderson’s passport, credit cards, and IDs.
When asked by a reporter why he left valuables in his vehicle, Anderson pointed out that what surprised him was his car was parked right in front of his establishment’s entrance. “Ang lalakas talaga ng loob [nila],” he said. The incident happened in front of Anderson’s gym.
The first suspect in the crime was arrested by NBI when he used Anderson’s laptop to transfer cryptocurrency into his own account. Following his arrest, his two accomplices surrendered. According to the authorities. the three suspects already posses a record for conducting the similar modus around Metro Manila.
Gerald Anderson issued a warning to everyone to not leave valuables in their cars. “I want to make this an awareness para sa lahat ng tao na huwag talagang mag-iwan ng bag sa loob ng kotse nila,” the actor said.
