Gerald Anderson is extending help again to his fellow Filipinos affected by the devastating typhoon. The actor has joined relief efforts for the victims of Tropical Storm Kristine.

On Instagram, he shared photos from the relief efforts and expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported their cause.
“Team work makes the dream work. Thank you to everyone who supported our cause,” he wrote. “To all the rescuers and selfless volunteers, maraming salamat (thank you so much). Your efforts to provide safety, care, and support to families affected by the typhoon are deeply appreciated.”

In another post, Gerald called for donations to aid the victims of Typhoon Kristine in Batangas.
“Kanina po ay galing kami sa Coast Guard station sa Batangas. Kinamusta po natin yung lagay doon, yung sitwasyon (We recently visited the Coast Guard station in Batangas. We checked the situation there). They are extremely devastated also by Typhoon Kristine,” he said in the video.
He emphasized that they plan to collect donations, including clothes, blankets, and hygiene kits, during the weekend to distribute them on Monday, October 28.
“Humupa na po yung baha sa Batangas (The flood has subsided in Batangas). They need supplies like mga extra clothes, kumot (extra clothes, blankets), toothbrush, toothpaste, hygiene kits,” he added.
In the caption, he shared the donation drop-off locations: 42A Samat St., Banawe, Quezon City, and Gameville Ball Park, Mandaluyong City. He also posted a list of donations urgently needed in several evacuation centers in Batangas.

Gerald has consistently participated in relief efforts and rescue operations during disasters. He previously helped rescue victims of Typhoon Ondoy and Super Typhoon Carina in September 2009 and July 2024, respectively.
The actor has been an active member of the Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary’s (PCGA) K9 Special Support Squadron since 2016. He was then promoted to Auxiliary Commander in 2021.
