Most of you asked for your favorite songs to be listed, so here they are!

10. Foo Fighters

This song was released 1999 and won the Grammy Award for Best Music Video. Band members Dave Grohl (vocals and guitar), Taylor Hawkins (drums), and Nate Mendel (Bass) portrayed different roles, depicting the movie, Airplane. Watch the hilarious video to believe!

9. Stone Temple Pilots – Plush

Stone Temple Pilot is one of my favorite bands of all time. This song was one their best songs and was released 1992. This became a hit during the 90s and won a lot of awards such as Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance, MTV Music Award for Artist to Watch, and Billboard Music Award for Top Rock Song.

8. Offspring – Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)

This song is the 4th track from their fifth studio album Americana. This song is about a person who is trying hard to be a gangster. Their album Americana hit platinum 4 times!

7. The Calling  – Wherever You Will Go

This became a national anthem of all broken hearted people! Okay, fine! This song was actually at my “move on” list. 🙂

6. Nirvana – Smells Like Teen Spirit

This song was released 1992. Written by the late renowned musician, Kurt Cobain, the song received awards such as MTV Music Award for Artist to Watch, MTV Video Music Award for Best Alternative Song, NME Award for Best Single during 1991 and NME Best Single Ever in 2001.

5. Incubus – Drive

Besides their talent, I love this band because of Brandon Boyd. 🙂 The band received numerous nominations and won some awards like the Billboard Music Award for Modern Rock Track of the Year.

R&B Songs

Rhythm and Blues, simply known as R&B are my go-to music whenever I need to be relaxed and/reminisce and feel nostalgic! I must admit that the R&B songs of the 90s to 2000 are still the best. Here are some of the songs you’ve mentioned being added on the list!

4. NU Flavor – Sweet Sexy Thing

NU Flavor is an R&B quartet based in Long Beach, California. The song was released 1997.

3. Brandy – Have You Ever

This song was released 1998 and reached number one in New Zealand and managed to reach other top charts, globally.

2. Lauryn Hill – Doo-Wop (That Thing)

Lauryn Hill is one of the best singers I know in the R&B Genre! Basically, I love all of her songs, as well as, her hip-hop group Fugees.

This song was number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making it the 10th song in the chart’s history to do so.

1. Janet Jackson – Together Again

Released in 1992, this song was well received by music critics and fellow musicians due to its distinct voice and the lyrics of the song. They even compared Janet Jackson’s vocals to another famous singer Diana Ross and Donna Summer.
