Drag Race fans, here’s another series to watch out for: Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World. Stephanie Prince, a Filipino queen who previously competed in the second season of Canada’s Drag Race, is set to join the competition.
The spin-off will feature queens who have competed in various editions of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Prince, Stephen Pasay outside of drag, describes herself as a Filipina goddess and prairie princess. According to her website, she is known for her “jaw-dropping looks, gag-worthy performances, and chaotic personality.”

Here’s how she describes the origin of her drag name: “in middle school she was often teased and called Stephanie due to her femininity, so she channelled her inner Diana Prince (Wonder Woman, duh) and turned lemons into pink lemonade (get it? Stephanie + Prince!)”
Prince endeared herself to fans on Canada’s Drag Race when she entered the workroom in a Jollibee-inspired outfit. She finished 10th place in the season.
On Canada’s Drag Race: Canada vs. the World, she will compete against Anita Wigl’it (RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under), Icesis Couture (Canada’s Drag Race), Kendall Gender (Canada’s Drag Race), Ra’Jah O’Hara (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Rita Baga (Canada’s Drag Race), Silky Nutmeg Ganache (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Vanity Milan (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK), and Victoria Scone (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK).
The show is set to premiere on November 18, 2022.
