Filipino Beer Brand Jade’s Temple Comes Home to McLaren’s Pub & Thirsty Barber, San Juan

With pandemic restrictions easing up, many brands and products are beginning to brave back into the physical space, and local beer breweries are no exception. We all know nothing beats the excitement of sipping and appreciating the taste of craft beer over good music with your closest friends and good-natured strangers in your favorite local bar.

Jade’s Temple Microbrewery found in Mandaluyong City, is known for its unique beers that are crafted with all-natural ingredients, no enhancers, and All Malt. The Microbrewery was introduced to the market during The Tasting Club’s Holiday Fair last December 2021. Not all are aware that a woman leads the entire brewery. Owner and founder Dea Suyosa has locally crafted these beers that have been “the talk of the town” last Christmas season for their holiday selections.

Running on almost three years of crafting the most unique beers on the market, Jade’s Temple is still out here giving everyone more new tastes to choose from. To celebrate Father’s Day, Jade’s Temple Microbrewery chose to go back to basics and introduce its very own Lager beer to match the classic taste of dads out there. “We also feel that now is the right time to introduce this classic beer style, two years after we entered the market catering primarily to non-beer drinkers with our original craft beers,” adds Dea Suyosa, Jade’s Temple Founder and Head Brewer.

Last June 18, Jade’s Temple partnered with McLaren’s Pub & Thirsty Barber both conveniently located at the heart of Wilson Street in San Juan to launch the new craft beer.

All the lucky guests that dropped by McLaren’s Pub got their free round of Lager beer thanks to this boozy partnership. “Two years ago, Jade’s Temple was founded around this area in the midst of a pandemic. It’s only right that we launch the Lager beer in McLaren’s Pub, which is also the hang-out place of choice for me and my closest friends for 10 years now,” co-founder Justin Filamor quips.

If you’re into a deeply relaxing time drinking alone or dancing with friends to the grooves of the DJ, Thirsty Barber, is a speak-easy bar behind an innocent-looking bookshelf, it’s a perfect place for you to enjoy a bottle of the Toasted Mallows, Salted Caramel, Black Forest & Mango.

While the reopening of bars and clubs is a welcome development, Jade’s Temple remains keen on delivering delicious craft beer right to your table. No matter what mood you may want to have while drinking, you may order your favorite Jade’s Temple bottle in these local bars.
