I love the drive that today’s Filipino youth has! One particular high school student who really made a mark on me recently is Raffy Bendicion, who has come up with businesses at such a young age. One of them is The Rolls Kitchen (which we featured in our cinnamon rolls listicle recently), and another is The Busy Bee.
Raffy is a high school student at the Immaculate Conception Academy. Last year, she started The Rolls Kitchen; but this year, she wanted to come up with a business all her own with products that she proudly makes herself. Always having had a love for chemistry, she has been experimenting with different chemicals to come up with lotions and creams for her own personal use.
Raffy came up with the idea for The Busy Bee because she wanted to make a product that anybody can use. The Busy Bee’s scrubs are made of natural exfoliants and are sure to leave you feeling fresh and clean. What’s great about this is that she actually uses these products herself and strongly believes in their benefits.
“I use the scrubs on a daily basis and I wanted to share my creations with the rest of the world,” she shares. Their scrubs are not only exfoliating, but they also moisturizing. Additionally, Raffy makes sure that each and every ingredient that goes into making the products are locally sourced.
The Busy Bee’s products are made in small batches and only use quality ingredients that are specifically formulated for the skin. They also have a lot of benefits, like moisturizing, exfoliating, and even whitening. Their scrubs are designed to naturally whiten your skin in dark places, such as your underarms and neck, and they do not add any chemical whitening agents because the natural exfoliants that they use are good enough to remove dead skin cells.
No matter where you are in the country, you can order their products and enjoy their benefits for yourself because The Busy Bee makes it a point to be accessible to every Filipino! 🙂
Raffy is also currently experimenting on different formulations for other products that she plans on launching soon, and I honestly can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us! Check out their products today!
