FIBA: Boris Diaw, Nicolas Batum might not play for the French team in OQT

Looks like the powerhouse team of the Manila Tournament will be missing some key people.

According to reports, NBA veterans Boris Diaw and Nicolas Batum might not play for the French national team during the Qualifying Tournament in July since they’ll be negotiating for new contracts at the end of the current NBA season.Boris diaw

But despite the probable absence of the two, the French team would still have other NBA players in their roster like Joffrey Lauvergne from Denver Nuggets, Rudy Gobert from Utah Jazz, and Evan Fournier from the Orlando Magic. While Tony Park is still unsure if he would be available for the tournament, says reports.

Philippines will face France in the FIBA Opener on July 4.
