As you walk upstairs, you can find Baobab optical shop. Here you can find prescription glasses, frames, and sunglasses that will suit your fancy.
Next stop, a true Escolta institution – the Luis Pens store. Established in 1943, its shelves are lined with a treasure trove of writing instruments, each one whispering stories of the countless pens that have flowed across the paper, shaping ideas and leaving their mark.
Continuing down Escolta Street, we’re greeted by the imposing Don Roman Santos Building. Its intricate details and classical European architecture transport us back in time. After rediscovering what Escolta has to offer, we needed a little break. Luckily, Escolta Ice Cream and Snacks are just at the end of the street. We enjoyed some mais con yelo topped with avocado ice cream- a perfect way to end the day.
