EXO’s Chen, also known as Kim Jongdae, officially became a father today as he and his wife welcomed the birth of their daughter!
This news was confirmed by SM Entertainment to Naver, who said that Chen’s wife gave birth “much earlier than expected.”
It was back in January when the KPop star surprised fans worldwide with the announcement that he will soon be getting married and that a baby is on the way. “This blessing has given me the strength and the courage to share the news, knowing I couldn’t delay the announcement any longer. I’m very grateful to the members of EXO and fans for your support and congratulations,” he said at the time.
The hashtag “#Jongdae” quickly trended on Twitter as fans poured out their love and happiness for the idol in this new chapter of his life.
