The verdict is in, BLOOMs—BINI just released their latest single, “Unang Kilig,” and it’s safe to say they have another smash hit on their hands. We can’t help but get up and groove to this upbeat Pinoy pop (P-pop) track, which we’re definitely putting on repeat for the next few months.

Catching feelings for someone for the first time can get pretty chaotic, especially after a long period of waiting for “the one” to show up, even when you least expect it. BINI’s “Unang Kilig” is all about owning that rush of emotions and taking pride in the giddiness of your refreshing “lover girl” era. Between festive instrumentals and upbeat choreography, the song unapologetically celebrates genuine admiration and human connections in a world of nonchalance and cynicism.
BINI went all-out in giving “Unang Kilig” their signature P-pop flair. The girls paired the song’s heartfelt themes of love and youthful innocence with a star-studded music video that flaunts their dynamic personalities. After a fun rollout of teasers showing the girls dabbling in various acting roles, they eventually got to channel their inner “main character” with a handful of familiar faces helping them.
There’s so much to love about “Unang Kilig” that fully brings the song together. Here’s everything we adore about this new era and comeback for BINI:
A Who’s Who of Philippine Entertainment
Numerous notable figures and established executives in Philippine entertainment helped make the “Unang Kilig” music video extra special. These include:
- Vhong Navarro,
- Richard Gutierrez,
- Gerald Anderson,
- Ogie Diaz,
- Olivia M. Lamasan,
- Charo Santos-Concio, and
- Cathy Garcia-Sampana.
As BINI continues to reach new heights locally and internationally, there’s no better feeling than witnessing big names in showbiz and pop culture support the girls wherever they go.

“Unang Kilig” is full of surprises, and the music video’s tributes to widely loved local movies are the icing on the cake. As the girls showcase their acting chops, you’ll instantly recognize a handful of references to familiar titles, such as:
- She’s Dating the Gangster (2014), starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla,
- Love You to the Stars and Back (2017), starring Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia,
- I Love You, Hater (2018), also starring Julia and Joshua, as well as Kris Aquino, and
- Labs Kita… Okey Ka Lang? (1998), starring Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin.
A Feel-good Surprise B-side Track
On March 5, 2026, BINI gave their BLOOMs a pleasant surprise by launching not one but two new songs to welcome their new chapter. Besides “Unang Kilig,” the girls also released “Honey Honey,” a sweet, laid-back track that we can all listen to and experience for the first time without any special previews prior.
Do “Unang Kilig” and “Honey Honey” hint at a new album in the works? Can we expect to hear these two tracks live at BINI’s highly anticipated Coachella set list this year? We’ll just have to stay tuned to find out.
