Since the comics’ television spin-off premiere early year, Archie Comics fans of young and old have been hooked to the series. The series has a modern, darker and more mysterious take on the comics’ original storyline – which primarily starts and centers of the disappearance (and eventually, discovery) of the murder of Jason Blossom.
After the announcement of show’s renewal for a second season last March 8, it has been announced that the works have officially begun last April 10.
Camila Mendes, Lili Reinharth and Casey Cott play Veronica, Betty and Kevin; respectively.
The official Archie Comics twitter account posted a photo of the cast and crew of The CW’s Riverdale and captioned, “Today’s the first day of the #Riverdale Season Two Writers’ Room! Thank you to all the folks who worked so hard on Season One! @CW_Riverdale”
Brian Paterson, a staff writer of The CW’s Riverdale, also tweeted with a photo and captioned, “And we’re back. #Riverdale #Season 2”
As of writing, the show has released its tenth episode which goes live on Netflix every Friday, Manila time.
We can’t wait to see more of Archie and his friends, and of course – find out who killed Jason Blossom by the time season one concludes!
