Last April 17 marked the sixth anniversary of the late Filipino celebrity AJ Perez.
Many fans took to social media how much they’ve missed the late actor, but it was the touching tributes of Steph Ayson and Gello Perez that brought virtual tears to followers.
Steph captions:

Steph and AJ used to date before the latter passed away. They were both 17 years old at the mark of the latter’s tragedy and were high school sweethearts.
AJ’s younger and only brother Gello posted a photo of him on Instagram wearing a cap embroidered with the number “17”, and captioned “You came on a 17, you left on a 17”.
AJ was born on February 17 and succumbed to fatal injuries in April 17 through a vehicular accident in Tarlac.
For the past week, Gello continued to post throwback photos of him and his kuya (older brother), in remembrance of National Sibling’s Day just a few days prior as well.
The brothers had a close relationship, and Gello says that he has “always [been] proud” of his Kuya.
“I’m happy to see people still thinking of him after six years,” he says.
AJ Perez was a former talent of ABS-CBN, where he was also a part of Star Magic’s Batch 13. He was part of boy group “Gigger Boys” that included Aaron Villaflor, Enchong Dee and Sam Concepcion among others. AJ was also noted for his role as Dido in now defunct primetime television series ‘Sabel’, Daniel in film “Bahay Kubo” and Dingdong in “Mamarazzi”, the film where he last acted in. He is also acknowledged for his remarkable performance in Maalala Mo Kaya’s episode ‘Tsinelas’ where he played Edgar.
