Adapting to the new normal has been difficult, especially for the food industry which has been hit hard by COVID-19. But as businesses slowly open their doors again, transitioning from only take-out and delivery services to welcoming dine-guests again, safety should still be of utmost concern.
Luckily for steak lovers like me, there’s no need to fret! Wolfgang’s Steakhouse has been working tirelessly to continuously offer the experience of their delicious steaks with our safety in mind. At first, they adapted to a delivery or pick-up system and cashless payments, even going as far as having Cook-at-Home items and Cocktails-To-Go
And while it did sate me for the time being, I still missed the entirety of the experience. I’m sure that Wolfgang’s had the same sentiments, prompting them to ask themselves: How can we deliver our steaks as we usually serve them—sizzling hot?

One crazy solution I always jokingly thought: Well, why not bring the cooking to the customer? But Wolfgang’s Steakhouse did just that with their No-Contact Catering service, complete with a state-of-the-art mobile kitchen outfitted to serve you that perfect sear. It’s just like being at their restaurant all in the comfort and safety of your home. Imagine slicing through a perfectly cooked steak, soft as butter, and savoring every morsel all while in your pajamas still? You don’t have to imagine—Wolfgang’s has done it. So whether it’s your usual Dry-Aged cut or their new menu items (the Roast Beef Sandwich and Black Pepper Beef Rice sound so good), you’re sure to enjoy freshly-cooked and absolutely delicious food.

Adapting to this environment when they clearly thrive in the magical ambiance of their dine-in experience has probably been challenging, but we can definitely see that Wolfgang’s Steakhouse is doing a fantastic job despite the foreign situation we’re all in. Pop-ups have also shown up in multiple locations like Bel-Air Makati and Molito Alabang, bringing the steak just a little closer to home for some.

But if you really miss the whole experience of getting a little more dressed up and sitting in a sophisticated space, then you’ll definitely be happy to know that all three Philippine locations have re-opened beginning mid-June—with safety protocol in place, of course. Wolfgang’s Steakhouse has worked tirelessly to provide contactless transactions even for dine-in customers, as well as a slightly-altered dine-in experience for the safety of everyone involved. There are clear barriers in place on tables, everything has been thoroughly sanitized, and the food is prepared with every measure for hygiene accounted for (face shield, gloves, etc.).
