Last January 18, 2024, Enderun Colleges successfully concluded the Ed Rodriguez Memorial Cup at the Wack-Wack Golf & Country Club in Mandaluyong City. This event emerged as a convergence amongst industry leaders, alumni, and the Enderun community.
The morning activities, hosted by Alethea Ambrocio, Miss Philippines 2023, included a memorable tee-off by Enderun’s Chief Operating Officer, Daniel Perez, marking the start of a captivating golf tournament showcasing skills and sportsmanship across various industries at Wack-Wack Golf & Country Club.

Following the tournament, guests gathered for the second half of the activities hosted by Empire.ph’s Pauline Amelinckx. The event featured prizes from sponsors like Golf x, VIP Golf, Nuat Thai, Hanabishi, and Kitchenaide. Major sponsorships from Discovery Primea, Acacia Hotels, Hilton Manila, Twin Lakes, and Picasso Boutique generously contributed gift certificates for hotel accommodations. Summing up the day’s events included the same-day edit made by Prime Edge Consultancy, followed by the awarding ceremony and raffle in the afternoon.

Perez underscored the student-led nature of the event, organized by Lux Lucis, Leadership Program, and Enderun Entrepreneurs Society. He emphasized how it symbolized a unique opportunity for students to grow as leaders while contributing to the Enderun community and paying tribute to Dr. Rodriguez’s memory.

The event was a meaningful tribute to the late Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez, former President of Enderun, while commemorating his birthday on the same day. His commitment to innovation, collaboration, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence will always be remembered. Additionally, the funds generated will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability of Enderun’s student-athletes scholarship program, paving the way for future tournaments.
