Eastwood City has once again outdone itself this holiday season with “A Season of Light: Eastwood Holiday Art Walk,” completely transforming into a radiant art walk where creativity and community come together.
The celebration also marked the official opening of the newly revitalized Eastwood Mall Open Park, which now hosts immersive outdoor experiences anyone can enjoy with their loved ones.

The launch was led by 3rd District Quezon City Councilor Hon. Wency Lagumbay, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls Head Graham Coates, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls cluster general manager Tyrone Tan, Eastwood City General Manager Ms. Kux Quiogue, and featured artists Olivia d’Aboville, Mikayla Teodoro, and singer Julie Anne San Jose.
“The Season of Light is more than a celebration. It is a reflection of Eastwood City as a community where creativity, culture, and togetherness shine brightly,” said Graham Coates, First Vice President and Head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
“Through the artistry of Olivia, Mikayla, and Teddy, we invite our guests to experience the wonder of the holidays in ways that inspire joy, connection, and a renewed appreciation for the Filipino spirit,” he adds, pertaining to the three visionary artists who stand in the spotlight of this year’s celebration.

In partnership with The Art House, French-Filipino artist Olivia d’Aboville’s internationally acclaimed Giant Dandelions can currently be found at Eastwood Mall Open Park. In case you didn’t know, these towering light sculptures are composed of more than 10,000 recycled water bottles.
“Everybody interacts with the flowers,” shared Olivia. “They go around, they walk in between the stems, and they feel curious. They are attracted because it catches the light even though it’s made from plastic bottles. It really sparks joy.”
Catch the light show of Olivia’s sustainable design from 6 PM to 10 PM every day until December 30.
The ‘Between the Stars’ sculpture, on the other hand, is by puppet, set designer, and visual artist Mikayla Teodoro. Its cute design features a series of narrative vignettes inspired by Filipino tradition and the quiet moments that make the holidays meaningful.

“For all the artwork and all of the installations that I’ve created, I really wanted to highlight what the true meaning of Christmas is. In between all of the stars and all of the lights, what really matters is the connections you make with one another,” shared Mikayla.
Spot Lolo at Apo sa Dagat ng mga Bituin, Kundiman sa Buwan, Sila Mingming, Brownie, at ang mga Tala, and the culminating Tree of Dreams in her installation.
Last but not least, you can see ‘Bigger Than Life’ by renowned event stylist and creative director Teddy Manuel elevate the Eastwood Mall atrium.

Just look up to spot a suspended garden of gorgeous oversized blooms crafted from layered fabrics in vivid holiday hues.
These three installations have literally turned Eastwood City into a living gallery, one where art, culture, and the Filipino imagination illuminate the season.
And that’s not all! Adding to the magic of the evening, Kapuso star Julie Anne San Jose performed her unique renditions of timeless holiday classics for us.
