And now, President Duterte is said to be seriously considering the use of cable cars to beat Metro Manila traffic according to a news post on ABS-CBN. This is from his incoming transportation secretary Arthur Tugade.
Tugade revealed that there are ongoing talks with a company whose business is supplying 35-seater cable cars for commuters in South America. If this pushes through, the cable car system is expected to be operational in 18 months.
He added that if it gets approved, the project will initially be implemented in Pasig City and Makati CBD.
