Those who had applied for DOLE’s (Department of Labor and Employment) Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) and COVID Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP) will be accommodated for the second phase of the program. As long as you have applied on or before April 30, the agency will be prioritizing previous applications.
According to DOLE, more than half a million displaced workers were not served because of budget problems but will now be open for 2nd phase under Bayanihan to Recover as One Act.
Beneficiaries of the TUPAD program can be hired for 14-16 days and be paid minimum wage depending on the area they work. CAMP, on the other hand, will provide Php5,000 for employees of micro, small and medium businesses.
