Baked Salmon Steak 575 Php
Â
The second steak of the night was this plate of Norwegian Salmon steak with a generous serving of fresh Mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese. I prefer the beef over this, just because we already had truffle pasta (which was also creamy and rich like this) but on its own, this is quite a showstopper. It got me smiling from ear to ear while chewing the salmon and melted cheese.Â

Frozen Hot Chocolate 179 Php & Mango Margarita 180 Php
Â
To give our palettes rest from all the savoury dishes, and to start us of with our desserts, are these two drinks: Frozen Hot Choco and Margarita. Then it’s off to dessert dreamland!
Valrhona Crunch Cake 225 Php per slice
Â
Dolcelatte’s signature cake was definitely first on our list. It’s their rendition of the perfect chocolate cake– oozing with rich chocolatey goodness and surprising textures in every bite. I’m not too crazy about chocolate but this one’s an exception!  love the nutella and nutty surprise in the last layer and the side of Valrhona chocolate for an extra cocoa goodness!Â
Â
Pistachio Berry 225 Php per slice
Â
Another cake was the luscious slice of Pistachio Berry, with white chocolate berry mousse and rich pistachio mousse sandwiched in light vanilla sponge cake. Imagine your favourite brand of pistachio ice cream, mix it with white chocolate and berries, and then bake it–this is what you’d get. I loved how sweet this was, not overpowering and very fruity.Â
The hotel-esque interiors of Dolcelatte Cafe
Â
Before we went home I took photos of the place and found that it was so much similar to restaurants I find in hotels. High ceilings, white lights, Â and fancy decorations made Dolcelatte look more upscale than it already was. There’s also a small bar in the middle and a rack where you can buy bread and pastries to take home with you (discounted prices are from 9 pm onwards)Â
Â
Â
Overall, Dolcelatte was a gourmet cafe experience to remember. If you sum up their food into one taste it’s…savoury. And if you think about what their best ingredients are its foie gras and truffle (since those are also the owners’ favourites) Their branch here in Mega Fashionhall is relatively new but their branch in QC has been standing for years! They serve the same food but at a bigger place where you can rent it for special events.Â
Â
Dolcelatte recently launched their solo plate selections. Since their current menu serves food to share, they decided to cater to those who prefer to have their dishes for themselves, thus the birth of this menu.Â
